Laboratory ultra-low temperature freezers are often used to preserve precious and valuable research materials. The maintenance and care of the ultra-low temperature freezer are particularly important to extend their service life and ensure the normal use.
How to make the ultra-low temperature freezer durable:
1. Do not get close to heat sources and avoid direct sunlight;
2. It is recommended to use ultra-low temperature freezers in an ambient temperature below 32°C. If conditions permit, use them in an air-conditioned environment;
3. It is absolutely not allowed to store flammable, explosive, volatile dangerous goods, as well as highly corrosive acids and alkalis in low-temperature storage refrigerators;
4. The tilt angle of the freezer during transportation shall not be greater than 45° to avoid compressor or system failure;
5. Low-temperature storage freezers cannot be used in flammable and explosive gas environments. Do not spray flammable items such as paint and coatings near the freezer to avoid fire.
6. Use environment: In a dry and well-ventilated room, there should be no corrosive gases around;
7. The refrigerant filled in ultra-low temperature refrigerators is different. Ultra-low temperature refrigerators are commonly used at -40°C, -60°C, -86°C, and some may even reach lower temperatures.
If the ultra-low temperature refrigerator is too dirty, clean it with a mild or neutral detergent, and then rinse it thoroughly with pure water. In use, protect the low-temperature refrigerator well and perform regular maintenance. Clean it at least once a month to ensure the cleanliness and make it reach a good working condition.
