The ultra-low temperature freezer is a special kind of low-temperature storage equipment. During daily use, it needs to be well maintained and operated correctly according to the instructions, which is especially important for prolonging its service life and ensuring normal use. The following are precautions for the use of ultra-low temperature freezers related to electrical aspects.
Electrical considerations for medical ultra-low temperature freezers:
1. In order to ensure that the ultra-low temperature freezer can work normally, it is required to use a 220v power supply and a three-hole socket above 10A, and it is forbidden to use a terminal block socket.
2. Generally, ultra-low temperature freezers are designed with a wide voltage band, and the power supply specifications used are 187V~242V/50HZ. Therefore, if the voltage fluctuation is too large, an automatic voltage stabilizer above 1250VA must be installed to avoid damage to the compressor or other electrical components.
3. When plugging and unplugging the power cord plug, be sure to hold the plug and do not pull the power cord.
4. Be sure to install a reliable grounding wire separately. This grounding wire should not be connected with gas pipes, heating pipes or water pipes.
5. If the power cord needs to be lengthened, it is recommended that the cross-sectional area of the wire should be ≥1.5mm2, and the wire can be single-strand or multi-strand.
Ultra-low temperature refrigerators are suitable for the storage of tuna, low-temperature tests of electronic devices, special materials, and low-temperature storage of plasma, biological materials, vaccines, reagents, biological products, chemical reagents, bacteria, biological samples, etc.
