Ultra-low temperature refrigerator, also known as ultra-low temperature freezer, ultra-low temperature storage box. It can be used for the preservation of tuna, the low-temperature test of electronic devices, special materials, and the low-temperature preservation of plasma, biological materials, vaccines, reagents, biological products, chemical reagents, bacterial species, biological samples, etc.. In daily use, how should we correctly clean the ultra-low temperature refrigerator?
I. Overall cleaning
For daily cleaning of the refrigerator, the surface of the refrigerator can be wiped with clean water and mild detergent from top to bottom using a sponge.
II. Cleaning of condenser
Cleaning the condenser is one of the most important tasks for the normal and effective operation of the refrigerator. The clogging of the condenser will lead to poor performance of the machine and increase power consumption. In some cases, a clogged condenser will hinder the intake of the system and cause serious damage to the compressor. To clean the condenser, we need to open the lower left and lower right doors and use a vacuum cleaner to clean the fins. Household vacuum cleaners are also okay, and make sure to clearly see through the wings after cleaning.
III. Cleaning of air filter
The air filter is the first defense against dust and contaminants that may enter the condenser. It is necessary to regularly inspect and clean the filter. To clean the filter, we need to open both the lower left and lower right doors (there are two air filters) and wash them with water, dry them, and put them back in the air filter holder. If they are too dirty or reach the end of their life, they need to be replaced.
IV. Cleaning of door seal
The door seal is an important part of sealing the refrigerator to reach the proper temperature. With the use of the machine, if there is no proper frost, the seal may be incomplete or damaged. To remove the accumulation of frost on the gasket, an unsharp plastic scraper is required to remove frost buildup that sticks to the ice surface. Remove the water on the seal before closing the door. The door seal is cleaned at least once a month.
V. Cleaning of pressure balance hole
Use a soft cloth to remove the frost that has accumulated in the pressure balance hole on the back of the outer door. The cleaning of the pressure balance hole needs to be carried out regularly, which depends on the frequency and time of door opening.
VI. Defrosting and cleaning
The amount of frost accumulation in the refrigerator depends on the frequency and time the door is opened. As the frost becomes thicker, it will have a negative impact on the efficiency of the refrigerator. The frost acts as an insulation unit to slow down the system’s ability to remove heat from the refrigerator, which will cause the refrigerator to consume more energy. For defrosting, all items need to be temporarily transferred to another refrigerator with the same temperature as this one. Turn off the power, open the internal and external doors to heat the refrigerator and defrost it, use a towel to get out the condensed water, carefully clean the inside and outside of the refrigerator with warm water and mild detergent. Do not let water flow into the cooling and power areas, and after cleaning, dry and power the refrigerator.
