Food Safety Commission of the State Council was established the first session of the Committee of Experts.
In order to meet the need of food safety supervision, give full play to the role of expert group in the field of food safety, promote the scientific and democratic decision-making, according to the "Food Safety Commission of the State Council work rules,"food safety committee of the State Council decided to set up a committee of experts, to provide technical advice, suggestions, eliminate doubt and confusion and popular science propaganda on the food safety work. In April 15th, the food safety committee of the State Council the first expert committee was established and the first plenary meeting held in Beijing.
Deputy Secretary General of the State Council, the State Council food safety office director, director of the State Food and Drug Administration Zhang Yong, Vice Minister of agriculture Yu Kangzhen,national health and Family Planning Commission deputy director Chen Xiaohong attended the meeting and made a speech.
Deputy director of the State Food Safety Office, the State Food and Drug Administration Deputy Secretary Liu Peizhi chaired the meeting.
The meeting conveyed the notification document food safety committee under the State Council set up a committee of experts, published a list of the first member of the Expert Committee on Food Safety Committee of the State Council, deliberated and passed the "Food safety committee of the State Council the first expert committee charter", the research discussed 2014 Committee of experts on the key work schedule.
